The Scottish Election Study is committed to engagement with stakeholders including school teachers, pupils, higher education professionals and students at all levels, journalists and media, political and third sector practitioners and other academic researchers.
We regularly attend the annual Modern Studies Association conference, produce materials for classroom use and make ourselves available for school visits. To arrange these, please contact Christopher Carman (christopher.carman@glasgow.ac.uk).

2014 Indyref Materials
In the aftermath of the 2014 Scottish Referendum, we put together six briefings and one classroom poster, all accessible at the links below.
2014 Indyref and 2016 Election Video Courses
Throughout the 2014 Scottish Referendum, the University of Edinburgh hosted a Massive Open Online Course ‘MOOC’, on the issues surrounding the referendum. This was followed in 2016 by a joint series with Cardiff University that focused on the 2016 elections to the Scottish Parliament and the National Assembly for Wales.
The courses consisted of a series of short videos, all of which are available below.
